Manon, born in Eindhoven, loves Italian movies and French Pop. At a young age played violin, percussion and drums in Rabbit Fun, a punk band that toured the Benelux, danced with Penny de Jagger’s beat ballet group in the Dutch movie ‘Spetters’, sang in the French rockabilly band Catmen, walked fashion shows for Calvin Klein and acted in California for television and film. In the Netherlands worked for the first hotline company and published the book ‘Memoirs of a 06-girl’ and draw much attention in the Dutch and Belgian press. At the time Manon came to the Portland Studio and inspired us for this original song specially written for her.
